Individuals and Families

Travellers are increasingly heading to new and previously unexplored destinations across the world, many of which present different security challenges. Threats are also changing in traditional travel destinations, most notably from terrorism. The response24 membership is designed to help our members to prepare for these risks before they travel with our dedicated travel risk portal, keep them alerted to events while away, and to provide a security response if they are affected by any threats to their safety. 

Example:

A gap year student is travelling alone through Latin America. They have been in regular contact with their family back home throughout the trip, so when communication is not made for several days they become concerned. Attempts to reach the student are unsuccessful, so the family starts to panic. Consular support is limited and the family cannot call local police as they do not speak the language. The student is a response24 member, so the family calls the crisis line and a specialist team is deployed to investigate. They are equipped with knowledge of the local area and customs, and are able to determine the movements of the member and to successfully locate them.
